EFCC arraigned John Warimeme Abebe over alleged forgery and fabrication of evidence. He pleaded not guilty and was remanded in prison custody pending hearing of his bail application on 02/08/2018.

Court convicted Okoro Samuel Uchechukwu & his company for stealing N41.6m and sentenced the convict to 10 years imprisonment. The court also ordered that all assets belonging to the convicts should be forfeited to the Federal Government. Case tried in 171 days.

EFCC arraigned Temitope Owolani & 1 other for allegedly obtaining N1.5m under the pretense of purchasing Toyota Hiace Bus for the complainant. They pleaded not guilty & were remanded in prison custody pending hearing of their bail applications by a vacation Judge.

Today, Justice Abbas Bello of Sokoto State High Court sitting in Sokoto will deliver judgment in N15bn money laundering trial involving former Governor of Sokoto State, Attahiru Bafarawa. The accused was first arraigned in 2009.

EFCC arraigned Yemi Akinwunmi & 2 other INEC staff for allegedly diverting N179m public funds. They pleaded not guilty and were remanded in prison custody pending hearing of their bail applications on 06/08/2018.

EFCC arraigned a hotel cashier, Florence Okorie for allegedly stealing and converting N3.3m hotel funds to her personal use. She pleaded not guilty and was granted bail in the sum of N500k with one surety. Case adjourned to 22/8/2018 for trial.

Justice Abbas Bello of Sokoto State High Court has discharged and acquitted former Governor of the State, Attahiru Bafarawa of N15bn money laundering charges. The court ruled there were no sufficient evidence presented by EFCC to prove the case. Case tried in 3,149 days.

. Court dismissed a no-case submission filed by ex-Gov of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu & 2 others over alleged N3.2bn fraud. The court ruled that EFCC had established a case against the defendants &ordered them to enter their defence on Sept 10. Case enters 4,036 days

Justice Mojisola Dada of Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikeja will determine the bail application of John Warimeme Abebe who was arraigned by EFCC over alleged forgery and fabrication of evidence.

Court convicted one Ewuga John Amos and sentenced him to 190 days with an option of N200k fine for defrauding N478k under pretense of securing jobs for his victims. The court also ordered the convict to pay N478k to the victims as restitution.

EFCC arraigned three INEC officials for allegedly laundering N177.3m. They pleaded not guilty and were remanded in prison custody pending hearing of their bail applications on 07/08/2018.

EFCC arraigned Adewale Dairo & 2 others for allegedly obtaining N1.5m under the pretense that they have bicycle manufacturing plant in the UK. They pleaded not guilty and were granted bail in the sum of N10m each with one surety. Case adjourned to 17/10/2018.
